Is there a charge for your services?
No, there is not a charge for any of our services. However, donations are accepted and great appreciated. These will help us pay for gas, equipment, and lodging, if necessary.
Will the results of the investigation be released to the public?
The results for the investigation will not be published in any form, unless the client gives the WCGHS written permission. The location and the names of the occupants are never released in our reports.
How do you conduct your investigations?
We are a scientifically based organization that used audio, video, and still photography in the attempt to document the paranormal activity at the location. We also use a number of scientific pieces of equipment, such as EMF detectors, non-contact infared thermometers, Geiger counters, ion counters, as well as a few miscellaneous pieces of equipment.
How long will the investigation take?
The time of the investigation will vary from location to location, depending on the size of the location and the activity that has been reported. An investigation will take a minimum of 4-5 hours, and could possibly take longer depending on various factors.
Can I be present when the investigation is being conducted?
Yes, the client is allowed to remain at the location, if requested. We would prefer to have the location to be completely vacant, except for our team members. However, we know that some people do not feel comfortable leaving their homes, so they are allowed to stay at the location.
What time of day are your investigations done?
We try to conduct our investigations on Friday and Saturday nights. We usually arrive at the location between 9pm and 10pm. If there is a conflict with those days and time, we make ever effort to come up with another day and time.
How many members of your team will be in attendance?
Depending on the size of the location the number of team members will vary. The team will consist of a minimum of 4 team members.
How long will it be before I get the results of the investigation?
The time for disclosure of the results of the investigation will vary depending on the size of the location, the length of the investigation, and the amount of data collected. The more data collected will cause the time to review it increase. We will make ever effort to have the investigation report completed and reviewed with the home owner in 7 to 14 days.
Do you incorporate the use of psychics or mediums?
We do not normally use psychics or mediums. However, if a client requests that one be brought into the location we will try our best to accommodate the request. We will first conduct our investigation prior to the use of any sort of psychic or medium being brought into the location. Since we are scientifically based organization, this is a rare occasion.
Is there anything I can do prior to the investigation?
Yes, you can begin by starting a detailed log of every occurrence. Log the time of day, the duration of the occurrence, what happened, who was present, and any other information no matter how minor it may seem. You can begin to research the location at the courthouse, recorder of deeds, local library, and by speak with the neighbors.
